So I haven’t been around much lately. Life has ben very busy and work’s keeping me so busy that it’s difficult to muster some energy to be posting. I didn’t want to go another day without something so here it is.
I love the song “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins from Disney’s “Tarzan.” How true that is when it comes to mothers. Mothers may make mistakes, as they are only human, and of course, their children will make plenty of mistakes, but regardless, they love us unconditionally. I remember thinking in that movie “Because I Said So” it’s described as a crazy kind of love. A mom is expected to be concerned about their kids and be involved in their lives but as time marches on, somehow us kids expect moms to well to put it bluntly, back off, and let us live our own lives. That’s a difficult thing to do especially when moms have gone through a lot for us.
It’s difficult but moms figure out how to still be our mother but to still be participants in our lives. Truth is, no matter what our age is, we always do need our moms from time to time anyway. It’s good to know they keep us in their hearts at all times. Thank you moms!
